I am currently a Research Fellow and Associate Faculty member at the University of Oxford. My research focuses on the nature and value of questions and the role they play in the informational and intellectual infrastructures of everyday life, as well as the harms and wrongs that arise in the fast-paced, information-centric world in which we live. My recent book - The Right to Know: Epistemic Rights and Why We Need Them (Routledge, 2021) - explores these themes in depth. I received a doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh in 2015, with a thesis titled 'Why Ask: The Epistemology of Questioning'.
