I am a Research Associate at Murdoch University, and a Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia. I am a seabird conservation ecologist, and have been primarily studying the ecology of Little Penguins and the threats they face in Western Australia for more than two decades.
I have also been monitoring a Little Penguin colony on Garden Island since 2001 in order to set recommendations for its management.
I have worked on related Little Penguin projects for the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (formerly Department of Environment and Conservation).
Since 2014 I have undertaken ecological research on other seabirds including Brown boobies, Lesser frigatebirds and Wedge-tailed shearwaters.
