I am a PhD candidate at the University of Queensland, where I am writing a thesis on the use of photography in contemporary women's writing in French. More broadly, my research specialises in 20th and 21st century women’s literatures and visual cultures across the French-speaking world, with a focus on representations of women’s bodies and subjectivities and on the interactions between literature and visual art. I also have a strong interest in surrealism and modernity in France from the late 19th to the early 20th centuries.
