Caroline D. Laurent specializes in Francophone postcolonial and comparative genocide studies. Her newest research project considers the representation and dissemination of histories through art forms, with the aim of dismantling a monolithic national(istic) narrative. After having taught African and comparative literature at King’s College London in England and postcolonial theory at Sciences Po in France, Caroline D. Laurent was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University before taking a post of Assistant Professor of Francophone Studies at AUP.
