My research agenda has two broad streams: First, I am researching the use of social media tools inside organisations to increase collaboration; this will interface with work from the fields of organisational development and human resources. Second, I am continuing work from my PhD in understanding the use of social media by firms to enhance development and adoption of innovations, which interfaces with colleagues in operations and marketing. I am interested in how non-financial capital structures (social capital, human capital and intellectual capital) can be facilitated by ‘digital capital’.
