John Casellas Connors is an assistant professor of geography at Texas A&M University. His research concerns the social dynamics of environmental change, particularly with regard to food system sustainability and wildlife management. His current research is primarily concerned with the ways that communities make decisions about managing the environment in light of great uncertainty and rapid change. He is currently the co-PI of an NSF GSS and an NSF CNH2 project to understand community perceptions and responses to changing wildlife populations in the suburbs.
