Assistant Professor of Environmental and Occupational Health, Texas A&M University

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health at Texas A&M University. My research focuses on examining physiological (neural and muscular) and performance outcomes associated with tasks that require concurrent physical and cognitive processing. I am interested in applying neuroergonomic and human factors tools and techniques to solve occupational safety and health problems associated with complex human-machine systems.

I received my Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech (Human Factors), a M.Eng. from the State University of New York at Buffalo (Engineering Management), and a B.Eng. in Production Engineering from Mumbai University, India. Before coming to the Texas A&M HSC School of Rural Public Health, I held an assistant professorship in the Departments of Cognitive and Learning Sciences and Kinesiology and Integrative Physiology at Michigan Technological University.
