PhD Researcher in Public Health, University of Glasgow

Hannah is a PhD Research Student based in the Places and Health Programme at the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit, University of Glasgow. Hannah's PhD is funded by the Medical Research Council and the College of Medical Veterinary & Life Sciences, University of Glasgow. Her PhD aims to explore the barriers to using green space for those with chronic health conditions. There is a particular focus on how these barriers differ by type of health condition, using quantitative research methods. The current Covid-19 pandemic has brought a new perspective to Hannah's research, leading to a focus on how use and experiences have changed with the restrictions on movement implemented due to the pandemic, and how these have also influenced the barriers to using green space in the UK.
