John S Reid

John S Reid is a former Cruickshank Lecturer in Astronomy & Meteorology at the University of Aberdeen and also lecturer in a wide range of practical and theoretical physics. A long-standing research career in diffuse X-ray scattering has been accompanied by an almost equally long-standing interest in the history of physics. John Reid is Honorary Curator of the University's extensive collection of historic scientific instruments.
